The following two chapters I read after “giving up” for what turned out to be less than 12 hours, were the most engaging and eventful chapters of the book thus far. I’ll see it through to the end.

I’m halfway through now and have yet to find this books hook. Reviews are quite mixed with much of the same impression. Less of a thriller and more of a social commentary. Perfectly valid, but ultimately not what the book is advertised to be. Think I might call time on it. Maybe read it slowly over time
