Holy shit the characters in this book are SO fcking annoying. Pen is the worst of all. She complains about Lukas- her ex- 24/7 but has such needy and attachment issues it’s actually just so obnoxious to keep reading repeat scenarios of him getting interrupted while being intimate with Scarlett so that he can answer his ex’s calls. like just no.
