Usually I'm neutral to not-a-fan on alternating POVs and was relieved this book is all one POV. Fast forward to now and I'd KILL for a Lowe POV chapter. On my hands and knees begging. I KNOW the inside of that man's head is a damn anxious and depressed mess LET ME IN THERE I WANT TO ROLL AROUND IN IT

I very much thought this was like FANTASY and it's urban fantasy and that's fine but I came in expecting like, idk court intrigue and kings and queens and got mentions of slurpees & cars on the first page lol just gotta recalibrate my expectations now
