So not what I wanted or expected

Yikes… the Stephen king version of the Red Wedding in GOT

THE STORY IS COOKING!!!
Everything is seeming to happen now and it definitely has my attention. I’m in the big leagues now and only about 250 pages left. Things are definitely getting hot and I’m curious how things will play out!

We’re getting there! Summers been getting busier and my attention for this book has been growing feeble but I’m gonna try to knock out a good chunk tomorrow! I can see where the story is going and I don’t like it 😭 fingers crossed that shit starts to change soon!

Still around a 8/10 at the moment! Super intriguing, it is getting much more interesting the further I get into it (I’m finding I’m doing near-100-page binge reads the last two sessions. Just finished the pink stars section of the novel and it was really invigorating— how dramatic and raw it felt. Still having high hopes for the rest of the novel… scared how King’ll logically end the book though.

Sooo 7/10 right now. The book is loosing me just a tad… or maybe I’m just busier in life atm that I feel less inclined to read, but I just feel a lagging in the story. It’s still very intriguing!! Just feeling a bit of slack right now, but looking forward to what’s next!

okay… OKAY… I am getting it a bit more now. So the novel is A LOT different from the tv series… but that’s not a bad thing, not in the slightest. It is familiar enough that I’m not having a terrible time keeping up, but the perfectly paced plot that King is spinning is fresh enough I can still feel surprised by a story I’ve known and grown with for years now.

7/10 at the moment (leaving room for improv.)

I’m intrigued. I watched the show UNDER THE DOME years ago… then rewatched it a few years later, and just recently gave it another rewatch. I absolutely loved this story so I thought I’d give reading it a try as my dip into Stephen King. I’m still about ten minutes into the dome dropping and I’m this far in, so I’m nervous where the storyline is gonna go. I have high hopes!!
