Things turned dark again. Up to this point in the book, I was surprised Robert Greene wasn’t talking about anything dark 😂. But in Chapter Seven, he was back to his usual self—just like one of the laws from The 48 Laws of Power."
{Chapter 7 lives quietly in my subconscious—
Summary : an echo of dark influence and Plato’s wisdom}

A little quiz from Chapter One: If you’ve truly contemplated the book’s ideas and challenged them with your own reasoning, you’ve grasped the first chapter. Otherwise, you may still be among the reason-fleeing—those who shy away from rational thought.

I think it might be better to read The 48 Laws of Power by the same author before diving into this book. That one is quite similar, but it approaches things from a different perspective. When I first read The 48 Laws, I spent a lot of time reflecting on human nature—and I found that experience quite pleasant, especially since the book doesn’t delve into deeper roots or origins

You should read this book by referring to your memory and be honest with yourself 😂
Favorite part: We can’t always be honest about our emotions, and sometimes we translate uncomfortable feelings—like jealousy—into something else, such as anger or hatred.
