Enjoyed this book at the beginning. Loved the story of a junkie, trying to reclaim his life through music. Charles Vess did the cover. However, right near the end, the main character undergoes a major personality change. His grandmother is dismissed as an unimportant character all of a sudden, and I did not care for the ending.
