what is a gift if you aren’t sacrificing anything? Dying out to self. Dying out to your desires, sacrificing your innermost passions, longings and dreams for His purity, holiness and plans. That is love. Sacrifice. It wouldn’t be true praise, if it wasn’t sacrificial. He desires obedience more than sacrifices. But sometimes, obedience comes with sacrifice!
