I KNEW IT WAS A TRAP

“And I just didn’t want to see you get hurt.” this is sweet.. not everyone’s parents are their best friends, but it does seem that June was misunderstanding her mom (and likely still is). her mom telling her to explore other things does come off like she isn’t creative & doesn’t like June’s career, but she just wanted a safe, reliable future for her daughter, not unreasonable at all..

June did have some good ideas a few pages back… however she doesn’t want to explore them. the IP thing does sound up her alley, all she does is have to add onto an idea— something she’s done before lol

june 100% has some issues & perhaps some problems.

i thought june’s first book was a flop tho.. unless of course she means the most recent one + it’s controversy? & later on the page she admits again her debut novel didn’t go well.. so not seeing the similarity other than they both were probably obsessed with Athena
