Upon rereading these -way over- a decade later, I'm most shocked at how young Katniss sounds, in mannerisms and thoughts. My teenage self missed out on how unreliable she is at times (the way she perceives herself is so sad.)
Also « sweetheart » hits harder now than it did before 😭
