I tend run through books fairly quickly, four or five days for a 600-700 page book, usually. I've been reading this for two weeks. TWO WEEKS! It's not that I don't enjoy it, because I happen to be in love thank you, but I want to savor it. When i first started Malazan someone likened this series to good scotch, something to be enjoyed slowly and appreciated, I have to say I agree.

Thoroughly enjoying this. Erikson can write some shit! I'm starting to see the depth and complexity glimpsed in the first book and it's glorious.

Chris Berko i love it. i was originally upset because of no Whiskeyjack or Rake but this story is so engrossing and the characters are so amazing it's easy to forgive.

I've been reading the TOR rereads after I complete each chapter, the whole read it twice to keep it locked in my brain kinda thing. It's been real helpful keeping everything in order and fresh. I love being able to be so involved with a series, and to know there is an end is great too.
