drive my car: 4 stars
when I finished this short story I paused because at first I didnt understand the purpose behind it at all. from an outsiders perspective it seemed to be about women and the act of driving but as you step into the book your focus turns to kafaku and his life as he converses with his (female) driver misaki.

and again i finish a short story in this book and the first thought flitting through my mind is what was the point? it’s only when i close the book and muse on what has been written do i think i understand the meanings behind each line
