I've been crying for about two hours now and still haven’t finished this. Just how much more pain does this have in store for me?

I just finished the Axiom of Equality. What the fuck did I just read? Jude’s life is so terrible, he didn’t deserve any of the things that happened to him. It’s so heartbreaking.
