I think when they find Luke in the house Ethan panics cause he doesn’t want Luke to recognize him and he’s scared that if Tricia goes to talk to him while he’s gone that Luke will tell her about him

Maybe Ethan is the one that was staying in the house until him and Tricia moved in together and that’s why the sleeping bag doesn’t have dust and the food in the fridge and all of that stuff

Maybe Luke helped her disappear and Ethan went back to the house to find her but her and Luke are really long gone with changed names living in a different country or something but maybe she really did escape him

I think that Ethan also brought Tricia out to the house cause it has no cell reception and it’s the middle of nowhere which means that if he tries to kill he there’s no way for her to escape him

I think that Ethan is the one that killed Adrienne and he murdered his parents too and that why he doesn’t like talking about their deaths
