Why am I 500 pages in but there’s only been like 35 pages of actual story progress? Ngl, I’m skimming and straight up flipping through chapters LOOKING for some forward motion. I see why reviews called it a filler book.

Looking ahead at the reviews, I’m fully expecting to DNF this book already. Like, I’ll keep going for now, but given that I only gave 3 stars to all previous books, it’s not boding well.
