i fear i am not liking this nearly as much as i thought i would based on the reviews i've seen... i think it's probably that i cannot connect with evangeline. like i know jacks is hot and i love him too but girl he's lied to you so many times, he never answers your questions and just has so many secrets, anyone else would've been more alert and suspicious that this girl. i don't know a lot of the book just annoys me

maybe i was blinded by jacks cause i did not see his lies 🥲 i think there is a reason for all he's doing but yeah, evangeline is kind of naive haha. i still loved the book because it broke my heart and mended it again later, but i hope you'll like it more as you continue reading!
