This was entirely too long and there were too many different elements at play I guess? Idk. Pacing was off. Things at the end were rushed. Other elements could've been taken out of the book to make time and room for a more emotional/dramatic ending. It was weird.

Ooookay I'll admit; I was maybe too quick to judge this book in some areas.
I went from liking Amon, to absolutely hating him, so now it's hard for me to like him again but I'm sure he'll win me over. I stand by the fact that the pacing is odd though.

Is it just me or are the pacing of this book and the way conversations flow…. just off.

I'm confused; as I have been for almost all 215 pages so far. But I feel like I'm supposed to be? maybe, idk. Am I supposed to like Darcy? Because I don't lol
