I find both Gemma and Duncan a bit annoying sometimes; her prickliness, his obtuseness around her dynamics. I know such annoyances help build the storyline. Anyway, the mystical nature of this story has me intrigued.

There’s so many characters in the first couple of chapters, I’m going to have to write down the names. That is, unless I can find a list in the Kindle/library copy of the book. I’m about to lose the thread. Everyone has a secret and Duncan hasn’t even begun to make a grand entrance yet.
