“I can’t risk you” 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

I’m conflicted with this book. Idgaf about whatever conflict SJM had to make up in a post-BBEG era. And, I know SJM won’t follow through on any real threats to main characters so it PMO that she pretends she will. However, I really relate to Nesta… She is my neurodivergent queen, and I completely understand and relate to her brain. I’m obsessed!! Also Rhys is so cancelled, just as bad as Tamlin imo :)))))

I think I can summarize this entire book with this passage:

“Though she had fought back against Tomas, against the Cauldron, against the King of Hybern, they had all HAPPENED to her. She had survived, but she had been helpless and afraid.
Not today.
Today, she would happen to HIM.”

The smut is getting to be toooo freakinggg much for me ☠️☠️☠️

It’s really a shame this is absolutely riddled with SA stories bc I’m so freaking obsessed with Nesta
