Feels like there should be more to and fro on goodreads. As it is now, people seem to use it just to catalogue their personal libraries. Purely achievement driven. I've tried and failed to get in touch with people through groups here though. It's so strange, just putting yourself out there, trying to get to know others. So many books, so many tastes, so many niches.
