I'm not sure which makes me more disconnected; different people narrating the fmc's pov, or the jazz music in the background after he'd been wounded and they'd taken shelter in a dusty room.

I'm not gonna lie, I like this way less than the book or the first book's graphic audio. The excessive talking fmc has in her head really shows in here. Like, maybe you wouldn't be doing a lot of thinking and having flashbacks in the middle of an important fight scene?
But just like Eldas's, I like hearing Ruvan's voice. And maybe I'll like it more as they become the main focus of the story.
