Picked up a soft cover copy of this book after hearing about it from a post by Mark Bekoff. Unbeknownst to me the author is/was a sociologist at CU, near me. Only a few pages in and she's explaining how this book came to be and what she learned. Next she's gonna tell stories from homeless people.
So far it's so emotional and I connect so strongly with everything she's learning. Hard to put down. Great book so far.
