This was part of the Spain haul from last year, w/the translated Dyachenkos. I'm treating this lil' book bundle like a luck charm. :D

My sister was asking me if reading in other languages could help w/exhaustion, & I said I hadn't thought to take note. But now I see I read quicker & less nitpicky-minded in other languages. Interesting!

It's marketed as a "anti-fairy tale." Will be my last of the genre for a while.

Patricia Oh that's so fun! Love reading in the original language as much as possible

Hehe, that used to be my policy long, long ago. Now, I'm flexible and pick the book up based on availability, but yes, it's always a good experience to read in the original language.

The Spanish fantasists have a very particular narration style that the Anglophone authors don't. That's one thing I love, I've noticed it in 3 Fantasy authors from Spain already.

Oooh, I loved her too! She's gorgeous, and I wish she was translated into English so more people could read her. One of the best Fantasists I've read in my life. :)
