Basically the whole enterprise seems too ideal, too utopian. For now the idea of those affordable, high quality cameras seems idealised, even though that could end up leading to a distopian, all-controlled society.
Mae seems a tad naïve, falling for the beauty of the circle (which is all in all understandable from her point of view)
