Treat relationships, new and old, with respect and show up when we commit. In order to build strong bonds with friends, we have to commit to getting to know them… even if we’re tired, anxious, or awkward. It’s hard to find out how awesome someone is if we don’t get through the initial stages bc we’re constantly flaking!

It’s not BFF or bust! You can be common friends with someone who doesn’t 100% align with you. Not close friends, but someone who might be friends within the confines of a common interest.
