in a way i dont want to continue this but there is a slight inkling of curiosity still in me

theres this lesbian tease to the characters of rika and kajii (gourmet killer lady) which makes me want to foolishly continue the story. i know it wont be developed but theres this hannigram esque back and forth between them, which is fun.

i dont really like any of the characters nor the plot... why am i reading this again?

rika is a journalist and shes trying to get a scoop/interview from this convicted gourmet killer woman, but the only thing shes willing to talk to her about is food.

like a quarter of the story this far is like UGH.... how dare this woman eat. she will become a FAT HUMONGOUS GIGANTIC VILE creature....

the sleeper agent activating within me when i realized that there was an indirect danganronpa reference

i love tasty descriptions of food in books but there is a big emphasis on body image and calories and stuff so i cant be too optimistic lol. reading lots of books abt hunger recently, first hungerstone now this
