Respect the review i have to write one "Ways of shadow" was written by Brent Weeks i promise to my friend Jorge Saez Criado https://www.goodreads.com/author/show... .At this moment i am reading a book about the time the title in English would be in English "The time and the man" was written by my friend Manuel Alfonseca https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...
I want to excuse Krisi, but i was watching your readings in Goodreads, and i was interested in several. I wrote to my friend Jorge Saez Criado, that you read a novel of Wayne T. Batson. You know that i like the christian fantasy literature. What is your impression about the Wayne T. Batson`s novel?.
Besides i have been reading an article about catholic writers who imparts lectures in Notre Dame. I pass to you https://isla.nd.edu/conference-suppor...

Yes in my opinion Benson aproach very much to our age. It is very prophetical. I like very much in Robert Hugh Benson. Their excellent
secondary characters, besides the plots of his novels are simple, but very good built. I like very much the opposite novel of Lord of World "Dawn of all", and "Necromancers". The last is very close to the Exorcist. Besides Benson offer an advantage. He allow the reader choose between three posible endings.

There are so many books I'd love to read, Fonch, especially those of your friends and other recommended Catholic authors. Unfortunately, at least for now, I'm on an extremely limited budget and can't afford much in the way of book buying (or anything else, for that matter!)
I really liked Ghost by Wayne T. Batson. A bit of a different take on angels than my own view in some ways, I guess, but overall very well written, interesting and I very much liked that it's so pro-life and brings across how God is working through all circumstances.
I will have to try to check out Necromancers, if it's like The Exorcist. That and Legion (though the latter quite a bit different in that it's more philosophically speculative) have always been two of my favorite novels.

Also, I forgot to say: thank you for the link to the Notre Dame article - I did check it out. You're right, that does look very interesting.

I'll keep your father and family in my prayers, Fonch. I'm glad your dad is feeling better now. My father also had diabetes for many years. Also wishing you much success with all your architecture projects.

Tania wrote: "This book is in my pending list... A must read book indeed."If you don't already have it and you have Kindle, Tania, there's a free version on Amazon. There are a few editing mistakes that, I think, happened in the conversion from print to digital format, but nothing major that really disturbs the reading of the book. Here's the link to the free version: https://www.amazon.com/Lord-World-Rob...
