The General was a bit incomprehensible to me, most propably because of my own faults. Madonna In Black was enjoyable, not only because of it's short lenght, but also because the (seemingly) twisted nature of the statuette of the Virgin Mary. One more story to go. I'm finding these much more enjoyable than the last time I opened this book, but it might just be because no amazing Drarry fanfiction is beguiling me.

From what I remember of the previous three short stories, Murder In The Age of Enlightenment has beat them out of the water.

It could also just be that I read it out loud.

Oh well.

Nevermind I found when I DNF'ed this, it was just in December.

I can't actually remember (or find) when I dnf'ed this, but I WILL READ IT NOW JUST TO SPITE TO SPIRIT OF AKUTAGAWA RUYNOSUKE

Finished Hell Screen. I am actually so tired of this boon and also the way Akutagawa writes. I tried to love these stories, I really did, but now I need a break from them. Maybe I'll try this again some time in the future, but that is not now. I won't rate this, since I haven't finished it, but this is the last you'll see me prattle about Akutagawa for a bit.

Anyway, I read In a Grove, and it was decent. I read it because I kind of felt obliged to read it. It was, as I said, ordinary to me. I still felt that the woman was the most justified.


Anyway, now I'll go back to writing my own HP fanfic lmao.

The Spiders Thread is a good short story about the reprocussions of greed and selfishness. I liked it, and it was a quick read. I also loved the Buddhist imagery and the descriptions of the lotus flowers. How lovely, indeed...
