Pretty good - zombie and shapeshifters as well as ghost and secrets. The story is almost gothic. The protagonist is naive which is hard to believe since he has been in desperate straights for a while - why isn’t he more street smart? And why is he so destitute? Can’t he gets job at some restaurant or go to school to learn a trade while his family was still alive? Just saying…

Slow burner I suppose - no ghost yet but it’s an interesting read and VERY atmospheric and mysterious. Someone or something knocking on doors at night - very good. I like it - like, not love.
