Im enjoying the book so far! The only small gripe I have with it is I wish there was an instance showing that Lily had the skills or experience to care for a traumatized child before taking in Sharkie. Or just a moment of her interacting with a child at all? It just seems out of left field that everyone immediately thinks Lily is the best person for the job but the reader hasn't seen any indication that she is.
