Mad how much I'm not liking this book which seems so far up my alley it's in the house. Idk what it is, the characters that read more like caricatures? The seemingly central conflict of the story not being all that conflicting and basically being the miscommunication trope? Mostly, it's just not taking any risks. And the audiobook listening experience is rough I shouldn't have to listen at 1.2x speed. Do I finish??
