Can someone actually assure me this is worth the read? 😭😭😭 the two MC’s are giving me second hand embarrassment every single page they’re together and there’s like NO tension…I actually might DNF cause I can’t stop cringing lowkey it’s such a hunger games dupe

yesss its soo worth reading!! trust me once you get to the trials you’ll probably like it way more because there’s so much more stuff going on and pae and kai have so many cute moments. the start to each book is a little slow but trust me they all pick up as soon as you get to the sort of main part of the book (usually at 20%-30%) and you will not be able to put the book down.

everything that people love about the book happens later in the book so patience is really the key but it’s a long book and you have free will so if you’re not liking the book you may as well just dnf it and either come back later or just leave it cause why read something you don’t enjoy
