Fairly flying through this one. No doubt I will finish this one today which makes me a little sad, but I cannot make myself put it down and I know there's two more left in this trilogy to read.

Totally different direction from the book I just completed. As much as I loved historical fiction, I think I needed that.

::sigh of content:: This book is like balm for my soul. I get a familiar setting -- both as a re-read and also as a cradle Lutheran. I get characters who are saint and sinner. I get some hearty laughs. Tears rolled down my cheeks. The gift of love is illustrated in its many varied forms. And the whole time, I am getting catechized. What more can I ask for? Wanna know more? Go read my review from my first read through. Nothing has changed.
