I had high hopes for this book.The story started off intriguing, and I was genuinely curious to see how the affair was going to unfold. But the ending felt anticlimactic, like there is no real resolution and the relationship seems to go absolutely nowhere. On top of that, the characters are difficult to connect with (unlikable and not well-developed). At the end, I didn’t care about their journey.🤷‍♀️
