I’m really struggling to get through this one. The performative language/virtue signaling is egregious. As Bobby & I say, it has the “Riverdale Affect”. I enjoy books that deal with mental illness/trauma/etc…when they’re written well & with care. This just feels like pandering. Disappointed because I loved the first book in the series!
