Chat…this book is long as hell. It’s definitely good but I think there is sooooo much going on that it’s hard to keep track of. I love fantasy but fuck dude. ☠️

War 🎶 what is it good for? Literally nothing ✨ not a lot is happening with Tissanah and Max but a lot is happening in the Fae side story that I only kind of care about. Aefe’s dark secret is that she steals magic powers but is it even actually draining them? I feel like it’s just copying them. Idk a little blood never killed anyone. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Tissanah is developing a god complex and honestly I’m here for it.

This book is slow to start. We gotta build up to the war ✨ but we actually don’t want to fight in said war. It’s a whole thing. Also all that tension for them to finally get together at the end of book 1 and now they’re completely separated. I’m being ROBBED.

We have an additional POV of some disgraced Fey princess, idk how to feel about her. I feel like the plots will intersect at some point but I can’t think of a reason why. Zeryth is also a piece of shit and deserves to rot for using us to become king. Also he made 13 year old girl hated in her own kingdom and then killed her.
