So far, Quinn’s story was a delight and quite opposite to the atrocious MMCs of her novels I’ve read so far. So good. The second story so far has contained the anachronistic “invites” instead of “invitations” and the phrase “could care less.” 🤢 The MMC is icky. Sigh.
