Tbh, I picked this up from at a Little Free Library after quickly judging that this was reasonably within my French reading level, but after starting it and then reading a bit more about the series premise overall here on Goodreads...this is just not to my taste and not something I would have ever been remotely interested in picking up in English. I'm gonna move on from this one. DNF at 14%.
