I know Frisha drives some readers to despair but rereading this one has reminded me of just how much I love the weird Rez/Frisha romance. I think it is half the reason why I love the first couple of books in the series so much.

I’d love to find and actual romance book with a similarly weird character dynamic but one that actually delivers a satisfying payoff!

This was just as great the third time around. Time to clear a spot on my all time favourites shelf!

Flying through this reread. This is every bit as much fun as I remember it being. Rez is such a fun lead character!

This is the start of my third read of this book in as many years and I'm already fully sucked back into the story. This is to get me up to speed so I can more on with reading the third book in the series.

Nick Podehl does a fantastic job with the audio and Rez is such a fun character!

Flying through this one. It is a really fun read. Glad I took a chance on it as it has turned out to be a real hidden gem.

I'm loving the early stages of this book. Hopefully it stays this awesome but time will tell as most of the early fun is coming from Rezkin's misunderstandings while dealing with "Outlanders". Which means normal people!

It likely helps that the fantastic Nick Podehl is really on form while narrating the audio.
