My bookclub is an after-hours bookstore crew of many 65+ women and maybe 2 of us under the age of 35. I LOVE them. I adore them! I learn so much from them. But mannnn, they do not know how to pick books for the seasonal vibes! Last July, the choice was "Wuthering Heights." This July? Frozen River. Could you get more wintery and gothic?

I cannot imagine finally being out of school and getting assigned “Wuthering Heights” 💀

Considering the fact that I taught it as a BritLit TA for 2 years I did not, in fact, read it last July. There was just no way!
