In the stories, when somebody fulfilled a prophecy, everyone cried “Behold!” or some such, and that was that except for dealing with the villains. Real life did not seem to work that way.

Chapter 29/58. I have been through an up and down of emotions with this book, wanting to quit because of the romance bits (I may have read spoilers), and after this last chapter I’m rethinking it now that I’m hooked again. Idk, I like Perrin and Mat but not always their storylines. Perrin headed home.

I didn’t pick up the book for a while because I was so grossed out by the romantic subplot, I’m ngl. But I think it’s been long enough that I can move on from that chapter.

The insta-love is so bad. I warmed up to Faile and Perrin but the whole Elayne declaring her love for Rand outta the blue is killing me. Such a detraction to be honest
