Oh boy!!

I love the realness in Locklyn and Darin’s relationship (I don’t know if they end up together so this is not a spoiler! I’m just saying that I like how they interact). Locklyn thinking Darin is treating her like a child, Darin thinking Locklyn is overreacting. So true!

Oh my goodness I am IN LOVE with this book! The world is so fun. I love the characters. And the twist in chapter 12 is spot on awesome! The lore has me hooked (aw man, I really tried not using a fish joke 😆)

I’ll be listening to the audiobook and reading the physical book on and off. So far I’ve been listening to the audiobook!

I love a good mermaid story! It seems to have some similarities with The Little Mermaid. I’m not quite sure where the story is going yet, but I love the setup so far. This just seems like a fun world I’m ready to explore! And I LOVE that it has real places (Gibraltar, the Mediterranean)
