Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde
I read this in middle school or high school so the story was pretty familiar to me. This read through though, I also read the introduction which provided a lot of historical and religious context. I found it really enriched the reading. The Presbyterian culture that Stevenson grew up in valued appearances over actually deeds and I don't think I need to explain how that relates to this book.

The Suicide Club
- Classic rich, worldly, kind adventuring detective gentleman story.
Thrawn Janet
- This might be the scariest scary story ive read because it's written in Scots which made me more immersed. Typically scary stories don't actually scare me.

A Lodging For The Night
Basically Stevenson deliberating the morals of a common thief vs a soldier who steals from those he wins over. I think writing a debate like this is a great way for anyone to wrangle with their own opinions.
