Blood streaked nearly every surface of the cramped medical bay of the
Dawn’s Beacon, the crimson patterns screaming panic and pain to
Malin’s exhausted eyes, focused on the patient bleeding out in front of
her. As she slumped, her long, pale hair slipped over her shoulder,
revealing the sickening crimson stain.
