Ok, this really picked up once we moved past Jacquetta Woodville. I read David Baldwin's section on Elizabeth Woodville last night for 30 minutes and thought no time had passed at all.

That section on Jacquetta of Luxembourg was painful to get through, but I am optimistic that the other sections will be better.

That introduction was the most wild thing ever. I loved Philippa Gregory explaining the stereotypes of women and the Madonna/whore complex as though she did not write about Anne Boleyn like Anne personally stole her husband.
