did not realize this was the same universe as TMIAHM till just now and no wonder they wanted to be independent from Earth bc these Earth people suck

your dead wife comes back and you ignore her while she does the housework ok

somehow still the most respectful man in the book

noooooooo it's All You Zombies all over again

heinlein was definitely in denial about being bisexual or something. it's kind of sad to read (this and some of his other books) because it always feels like there's some internal struggle going on.
or maybe he's just a creepy old man 🤷
