I've been half-heartedly reading this for about two weeks in between reading (and finishing) about ten other books. I think I might go back and semi-skim over what I've already read, to get a better idea of what's going on.

Not only are they oblivious to the damage they're doing to the planet with their littering, but they're likely breaking the law as well as being plain stupid. Drunk swimming is a dreadful idea that causes deaths every year in Australia, it's so stupid I actually thought it was meant to give Megan a chance to show off her nursing skills. Then, they're going to have to drive the speedboat home, while still drunk.

I just lost all respect for this book!
'"I'm gonna go grab another beer. Do you want one?"
Reed emptied his beer into his mouth then submerged it into the water, (of the lake) the can filling up before sinking below the surface.'
He just casually lets his empty beer can sink into the lake, and this is only one instance, I wouldn't be surprised if everyone is doing it with all their trash. I'm outraged!!
