That's confusing for any teenager. I feel bad for Grady seems like Kita just pitys him and doesn't lobe him.

They're gonna get a dog arnt they? I thought it would be a sweet moment of Grady playing with Charlie when he said he wanted a brother. You have a brother but nope guess not

That sounds more non binary than Trans male. But tbh it doesn't really matter what his label is, if that's what he's comfortable with. I just wish the author did better research or maybe had more input from actual Trans men while writing.

Guess that's the end of homophobia, sexism and bullying. Grady and a teacher got back at a bully and suddenly we find out that said bully was brainwashing everyone into hating transgender people. But now that she's suspended suddenly anyone who had a problem with Grady now doesn't. Woah. 🙄

I liked that chapter. Finally Grady thought about how someone else might have problems too.
Also they talked on the phone for 45 minutes that day . How could he not tell.

Too soon

I'm confused. Was getting back on Danya not "hurting her back". I understand Dayna was in the wrong. I understand that what she was planning is worse than what Grady did. However I can't stand that the author is acting like Graddy is above that. When clearly he is not. I mean he wants to make a play making fun of his family, becuase his dad likes Christmas too much. It is not like he's super mature and forgiving

I think this author uses too many Stereotypes for her characters for this to be a good book. None of them feel real.
