DNF I can’t do it anymore I’m so utterly brain numbingly bored

I’m feeling the DNF demon on my shoulder rn. At this point I’m so close to finishing I may as well just get through it. I’m just so invested in knowing what happens at the end of this that I keep going and some interactions have kept me invested. I am a firm believer that this book could have been 400 pages. It’s incredibly over written.

I was just getting ready to DNF this book and then not 1 but 2 characters got into a tussle and I got to see both sides chapter to chapter and it was so funny it locked me back in for a bit. There are some good qualities about this book it can just be a little slow at times.

This book is COMPLETELY out of my comfort zone. I’m generally enjoying it right now it’s just a little
Slow for my usual taste. Though as this book has stated and I’ve thought about since I read it- sometimes it’s good to slow down and good things take time.
