I didn’t really read much today but I’m aiming to finish Kingdom of Ash tomorrow or the day after.

OMG AELIN AND THE WHOLE ARMY OFFICIALLY ARRIVING IN ORYNTH LIKE holy shitnsgsgsbe— I cant believe it. I’m so excited for all the reunions and some badass fight scene ;))

Okay, it must be said. When Aelin & Dorian we’re forging the Lock and Dorian’s dad appeared, it was one of the best family scenes.

This is bias but idgaf. The scene where Aelin was falling through realms and she went past the night court and feysand, is legit one of my all time fave scenes in the whole series. it just made me feel really nostalgic and Velaris omg I’m gonna cry—

I just want to throw this book and scream sometimes but one, I would never actually physically harm my books and second, crying was hurting my throat today so screaming... not going to end well.

The Thirteen’s sacrifice. It was so fucking heart breaking! It was beautiful but when Asterin told Manon to live, I bursted out crying. I knew they were going to die and I just kept saying no in denial :((

p. 660 - I’m so proud of Dorian, I can barely form words. He actually pulled off retrieving the wyrdkey and he tricked Maeve— what!

My otp (Elide & Lorcan) confessing their love was everything. I read this book for them. Lol not completely but for the most part.

I want to keep reading but I need to sleep.

When Manon fought against all three of the matrons, it was one of the best fight scenes in the series. She was just an absolute queen (no pun intended)

When Elide said “Where is Lorcan?” and knew no one even considered it, I think my heart broke a little. I’m pissed at them for not even noticing and sad that Lorcan believed they wouldn’t realise!

Chaol & Aelin’s reunion was so precious! And everyone meeting... LORCAN & CHAOL in the same room, my mind is still a mess.

Then Lorcan apologising to Elide was just too sweet. But she just snapped at him and that pissed me off. Like a minute before, she quote unquote basically admitted to loving him. Like wtf!

I’ve been in a major reading slump but I just ordered The Queen of Nothing & it inspired me to finish this book!

I’m not a major Aedion x Lysandra shopper but that scene in the tent where Aedion just lashed out at her and blamed her, I was so upset! Such a pathetic move to have a go at her, especially when she could barely stand.

When Fenrys broke the blood oath— I lost it.
I was a big fat ball of emotions. Happy and sad at the same time. Omg that scene was horrible. I mean with Carin smashing Aelin’s head and pulling her hair. And the fire... if he burnt her, I would’ve been shattered.
