Book was recommended by a colleague at Childrens Hospital of New Orleans, now Manning Family Hosp. Writing is a little sensational, conspiratorial, i don’t know this author and whether he has the credibility to be a first hand source. Still reserving judgement.
I do have a tendency to believe there are a lot of things going on in the shadows that the general public is not aware of.

Tulane had such connections between the american fruit company with huge farms in central america. What did Mary Sherman know that got her killed? Cubans, lee Harvey Oswald CIA, viruses. Author has a unique vantage point to these places at Tulane, Fathers a doctor, the hosted her for dinner once; girl friend rented an apt david ferry used to conduct experiments with mice.??? Whaat? Buckets of speculation, but ???

Apparently Dr mary Sherman was a bit wild, she is helping pilot turned cancer researcher ferry , another weirdie, set up a murine lab in his apartment, nothing far out about this. In new orleans, of course. Some connection to Jim garrison

Ch3 his recollections of conversations with his father when he was 10-12yo are dubious. As a pediatrician i have had experience with a lot of 12yo and raised 4 of them, and the skeptical inquisitive incisive capabilities of the author are pretty suspect, placing him in the top 1/2% by my estimation. Maybe.
